PASTORS

Pastor Tim Haugen
Lead Pastor
Pastor Tim spent the first seven years of his life in the U.P. During those years his dad served as the pastor of a wonderful church in Menominee. During his high school years, Tim’s family lived in Door County, Wisconsin, where he attended Sturgeon Bay High School. He especially enjoyed team experiences in basketball and track during his high school years. Following high school graduation, he attended Bethel University in Arden Hills, MN. A wonderful highlight of his college years involved meeting his future wife, Ann. Three weeks after college graduation, Tim and Ann were married. Following college, Tim graduated from Denver Seminary, and subsequently had the privilege to do some doctoral work at Gordon Conwell Seminary in South Hamilton, MA, with a mentor, the late Haddon Robinson. Over the past 35 years, Pastor Tim has served as a youth pastor, a teaching and care pastor, and as a lead pastor. Through the years, Tim and Ann have had opportunity to be reminded over and over again of the faithfulness and power of God. They have seen hundreds of people baptized, multiple daughter churches parented and planted, and many young associate pastors become fruitful, catalytic point leaders. Pastor Tim and Ann have a passion for personal and corporate Worship-based, Scripture-fed, Spirit-led prayer, persuaded that God is waiting for churches to demonstrate practical dependence on Him in prayer. They are resolved to orient ministry and service around the gospel, and they take seriously the ongoing commission of Jesus to make disciples who make disciples. Pastor Tim wants to invest strategically in the nurture and development of leaders and emerging leaders as a necessary component of multiplication and disciple-making ministry. Tim and Ann are also passionate about fighting for marriages through teaching, counseling, and retreat ministry, having experienced God’s restorative power and grace in their own marriage. Tim and Ann love their family. They have three adult daughters, Karissa, Shelly, and Stacey, who are each married. God has additionally blessed Tim and Ann with nine grandchildren..

Pastor Dave Hanson
Worship Pastor
Pastor Dave is native to the Upper Peninsula where he learned to appreciate the snow and the people who hide underneath it for most of the year. He grew up in a family, with his parents and sister, who made sure that Jesus was the priority. Surrounded by music and church life, Dave developed a love for music and God’s Word at a young age. Music and worship became a central focus during high school, college, and youth ministry. Ten years of wonderful ministry with a church in Marquette opened up his eyes to how much he enjoyed encouraging people to love the Lord. Dave met his wife Audrey in the fourth grade at a little Christian school in the Upper Peninsula and they were hard to separate after Junior High. They have experienced and led various Bible studies, youth groups, worship services, and college and church ministries together. When they were married during their last year of college, they were almost immediately blessed with their first of four children. Isabel, Henry, Charlotte, and Maev. The Hansons love to explore the outdoors, travel, visit family and friends, sing, play Legos, video games, watch movies, learn new things, and just be together. Dave’s great desire is to see people lifting up their voices and hands to bring glory to Jesus Christ together as the Church and everywhere they go!

Pastor Jordan Pardee
Youth Pastor
Pastor Jordan grew up in Ekalaka, Montana. Where his parents are directors of a Christian summer camp, Trail's End Ranch. Many of Jordan's favorite childhood memories revolve around his family and the camp experience. Jordan spent much of his time working at camp, hunting, and playing football and basketball. It is through the camp ministry that Jordan learned he had a passion for students and Jesus. He knew during his senior year of high school that God was leading him to a career in student ministry. After graduation, he moved to Minnesota where he pursued a double major in Christian Studies and Youth and Family Ministry at Crown College. Jordan and his wife Laura started dating right after high school graduation and were married the summer before their junior year of college. Ever since, they have worked as a team in ministry. They have worked in everything from leading an Awana program to Vacation Bible School to Youth Group. Their favorite moments with students consistently come when serving on a mission trip or being at camp. They have always seen God moving in students during these trips. Jordan and Laura have three children, Roman, Scarlett, & Gemma. The Pardee's love spending time together as a family, being with friends, and meeting new friends. They enjoy almost any activity as long as they are able to do it with other people. Jordan's passion is helping students dig deeper in their spiritual walk with Jesus and encouraging them to share their faith.
