mission statement:  To provide opportunities for the women of Grace Church and the women of our community to know Christ and to grow in their faith, that they then may make Christ known to others.

Are you looking for a place where you can meet other Christian women who want to grow in their faith?  No matter where you are on your journey, you will meet women of all ages at Grace who are experiencing God's grace as they live out their faith.  Grace Church is blessed with women who are committed to one another and excited to help you find opportunities to grow in Christ through Bible studies, prayer groups, mentoring, service, and fellowship offerings.

Women's Book club

Introducing the Grace Church Women's Ministry Facebook Book Club! We will be starting with "Women of the Word" by Jen Wilkin.

In her book, Jen walks us through how to study the Bible with both our hearts and our minds. Our discussion will take place in a private Facebook group July 8 through August 18. Sign up at the foyer table on June 30 to order your copy of the book and be included on the Facebook discussion page.

  • moms in prayer

During the school year, every Friday at 1pm in Room 201, a group of moms and grandmas meet together to pray for their children/grandchildren and for Gladstone Schools. Over the past 18 years, we have prayed for every child and teacher that has attended Gladstone schools. At times, we have had moms from Escanaba and Rapid River and have included their teachers and students in prayer also. We have covered our children in scripture and have seen so many answers to prayer and changes in our own hearts. If you would like to join this group, contact Elizabeth, 241-0079. Prayer is a powerful tool we have been given to change ourselves, our children, and the world around them! Moms in Prayer is a world-wide ministry with a vision to cover every school in prayer.

This group meets during the school year and follows the calendar for the Gladstone School District; if school is cancelled, we will not meet.

  • Women mentoring women

Have you considered meeting with a mentor to help you mature in your Christian Walk?  Do you have questions?  We would love to connect you with another woman to walk alongside you.  Please contact Linda Pyle, 233-9088, for details.

  • play group

Summer Playgroup meets on Fridays from 10 to 11:30 AM at VanCleve Park's Kids' Kingdom - weather permitting.  Get to know other moms while the kids play.

    * During the school year, we meet in the multi-purpose room at Grace. Playgroup will not meet if schools have been cancelled.

  • wives in prayer

Jeni Diebolt facilitates a time for wives (and future wives) to pray for their husbands on Tuesday mornings from 9-10am just prior to the start of Women's Bible Studies.  This group meets in the cry room during the school year. Meetings will resume in the fall.
