Pastoral staff

  • Pastor Jon (aka PJ)  grew up in Sparta, Michigan, the second of four children. His family was, and still is, very active in Kent City Baptist Church. He was homeschooled, having attended both private and public schools. He was very active in football, wrestling, and baseball. During his junior year of high school, he felt God calling him into youth ministry. Pastor Jon went on to attend Moody Bible Institute where he met his wife Jessica.

After graduation from Moody in 2005, Jon served three years as the Student Ministries Pastor at a large church in New Jersey, just outside of New York City.

Pastor Jon and Jessica began their ministry here at Grace in May 2008 when he served as Pastor of Student Ministries. Pastor Jon’s role at Grace changed in 2018 to Associate Pastor of Discipleship in which he is focused on three areas of ministry: Life Groups, Men’s Ministry, and Fellowship.

The home life of Jon and Jessica revolves around their four children, Jenna, Chase, Sawyer, and Emerson.  In his spare time Pastor Jon loves to hunt, fish and coach youth football. His other favorite interests include getting to know people, the outdoors, University of Michigan Football, Tigers Baseball, and Lions Football.

Jon has a passion for seeing people encounter the gospel and become more like Jesus. Nothing pleases him more than seeing people growing in their faith and engaging the world around them with the love of Christ.

  • Pastor Dave is native to the Upper Peninsula where he learned to appreciate the snow and the people who hide underneath it for most of the year. He grew up in a family, with his parents and sister, who made sure that Jesus was the priority. Surrounded by music and church life, Dave developed a love for music and God’s Word at a young age. Music and worship became a central focus during high school, college, and youth ministry. Ten years of wonderful ministry with a church in Marquette opened up his eyes to how much he enjoyed encouraging people to love the Lord.
Dave met his wife Audrey in the fourth grade at a little Christian school in the Upper Peninsula and they were hard to separate after Junior High.  They have experienced and led various Bible studies, youth groups, worship services, and college and church ministries together.  When they were married during their last year of college, they were almost immediately blessed with their first of four children. Isabel, Henry, Charlotte, and Maev. The Hansons love to explore the outdoors, travel, visit family and friends, sing, play Legos, video games, watch movies, learn new things, and just be together.
Dave’s great desire is to see people lifting up their voices and hands to bring glory to Jesus Christ together as the Church and everywhere they go!

  • Pastor Jordan grew up in Ekalaka, Montana. Where his parents are directors of a Christian summer camp, Trail's End Ranch. Many of Jordan's favorite childhood memories revolve around his family and the camp experience. Jordan spent much of his time working at camp, hunting, and playing football and basketball. It is through the camp ministry that Jordan learned he had a passion for students and Jesus. He knew during his senior year of high school that God was leading him to a career in student ministry. After graduation, he moved to Minnesota where he pursued a double major in Christian Studies and Youth and Family Ministry at Crown College. Jordan and his wife Laura started dating right after high school graduation and were married the summer before their junior year of college. Ever since, they have worked as a team in ministry. They have worked in everything from leading an Awana program to Vacation Bible School to Youth Group. Their favorite moments with students consistently come when serving on a mission trip or being at camp. They have always seen God moving in students during these trips.

Jordan and Laura have two children, Roman and Scarlett. The Pardee's love spending time together as a family, being with friends, and meeting new friends. They enjoy almost any activity as long as they are able to do it with other people.

Jordan's passion is helping students dig deeper in their spiritual walk with Jesus and encouraging them to share their faith.
