Pastor Dave is native to the Upper Peninsula where he learned to appreciate the snow and the people who hide underneath it for most of the year. He grew up in a family, with his parents and sister, who made sure that Jesus was the priority. Surrounded by music and church life, Dave developed a love for music and God’s Word at a young age. Music and worship became a central focus during high school, college, and youth ministry. Ten years of wonderful ministry with a church in Marquette opened up his eyes to how much he enjoyed encouraging people to love the Lord.
Dave met his wife Audrey in the fourth grade at a little Christian school in the Upper Peninsula and they were hard to separate after Junior High. They have experienced and led various Bible studies, youth groups, worship services, and college and church ministries together. When they were married during their last year of college, they were almost immediately blessed with their first of four children. Isabel, Henry, Charlotte, and Maev. The Hansons love to explore the outdoors, travel, visit family and friends, sing, play Legos, video games, watch movies, learn new things, and just be together.
Dave’s great desire is to see people lifting up their voices and hands to bring glory to Jesus Christ together as the Church and everywhere they go!
